Jonathan Greene

Jonathan considers every day to be at least a "three hat day." That's why he makes his living as a playwright, novelist, teacher, director, choreographer, thinker, and performer. Jonathan has lived in several cities around the world. He studied Commedia Dell'arte under Maestro and Mask Maker Antonio Fava in Reggio Emilia Italy; raised turkeys and drove a field tractor in the Judean Desert of Israel; taught English as a second language in Prague and Buenos Aires; and slept in a tent at the bottom of the world. His plays have been produced in New York, Washington D.C., Boston, and Martha's Vineyard. Jonathan received his BFA in Theater Studies from Boston University's School of Fine Arts. As a screen and TV writer, he is currently under contract with two New York-based production companies, crafting a new international western and sitcom series, respectively. And he recently worked as a Puppeteer with Two Kazoos throughout the first season of The Electric Company! He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and loves the outdoors (even when indoors) and is often heard thanking the Truffula Trees (if you please) for his constant inspiration.
